I have tried several weightloss products, and this is the only one that has worked. I was not hungry and food did not have the appeal that it once did. (For me, not being hungry, doesn't mean I don't eat!) But this pill took care of both the hunger and desire. Also, it gave me a lot of energy.

I have lost about 15 lbs in just over a month. (I was 135 lbs and am now 119 lbs.) Also, it is important to note that I have also been exercising over that time. The added energy and waking up early helped me stay on track with the exercising. Now that I am not taking the pill, I'm still doing well. 30 days of exercising and eating less was enough to become a habit for me. My appetite is smaller, and my exercise routine is just a part of my morning schedule now.

If your family is like mine, you just can't have enough chocolate around the house. Is there anything better than a warm chocolate chip cookie fresh from the oven? Not much, in my opinion! This Chocolate Chip Cookie from the good folks at Hershey's is easy and delicious. Even beginning bakers or the kids can turn out a good cookie with this recipe. The other cookie recipe is for Chocolate Pecan Cookies. What a perfect combination! I don't know about you but that is two of my favorite things. Next time you have a yen for a good cookie, get out the flour, sugar, cookie sheets, etc and get busy. In a matter of minutes your house will smell wonderful and you'll be taking some wonderful cookies out of your oven.

HERSHEY'S CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

1 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 eggs
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups (12 oz pkg) semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped nuts, optional

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

In a large mixing bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla until creamy. Add eggs; beat well. Stir together flour, baking soda and salt; gradually add to butter mixture, beating well. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts, if desired. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool slightly on pan then remove to wire racks to cool completely.

Yield: Approximately 6 dozen cookies

To make bar cookies, prepare as above but spread dough into a greased 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1-inch jelly-roll pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool completely in pan on a wire rack. Cut into bars.

CHOCOLATE-PECAN COOKIES

4 oz unsweetened chocolate
12 oz semisweet chocolate
1/4 cup butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
4 eggs
2 tsps vanilla
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tsps baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Combine the unsweetened chocolate, semisweet chocolate and butter in a double boiler over hot water. Heat, stirring often, until melted and well blended. Carefully pour into a bowl. Add the sugar and mix well. Add the eggs to the chocolate mixture, 1 at a time, mixing in well after each one. Beat in vanilla. Add the flour, baking powder, and salt; mix well. Stir in pecans. Line cookie sheets with foil and spray with nonstick cooking spray. Drop dough by 1/4 cupfuls onto the cookie sheets about 2-inches apart. Bake for about 12 minutes or until firm. Cool about one minute before removing to wire racks to cool completely.

Inspiration on writing a blog. Most us go through a stage of writers block. How do we get through these periods of just blanks? Here are seven blogging tips to help you for blog ideas.

1. Think about what people who visit your blog want. Ask yourself, "What problems are they experiencing that I can help with". Or questions such as "When I started what did I learn that helped me to get to where I am now?" These are ideas that can be formulated into something of benefit that you should be inspired to write about.

2. What have I recently learnt that was informative, helpful, inspiring, humorous, or entertaining? Work this into your blog giving your unique flavour. As You grow you can share those benefits, solutions or ideas with your readers. What are your struggles, gripes that maybe need airing. These "struggles" show that you to are human and can identify with their problems.

3. Sign up with Stumbleupon and get their weekly review of the most popular sites. Find sites relevant to your blog for ideas, tips or strategies. Or you can visit forums and chat sites related to your niche to find threads to fire you up with. This is another place to find what questions are being asked that you could maybe help with.

4. Google trends is another site worth visiting to see what's hot. Write about something of interest that you have found, then point your readers in that direction. Out ward links from your blog are also good, it shows your readers that you care by offering something of quality. They will come back for more as regulars.

5. Write down a list of ten questions relating to your niche that your readers could be asking. Just do a google search " intelligent questions on ??(Your Niche)." you will be amazed at what questions get asked. This is a great way to jump in to give your input.

6. Use a good key word tool that gives alternate keywords and phrases. This I find is great inspiration for my heading. Once the heading is decided, just write down every thing you know without really thinking. You can always come back to proof read and correct it later. This gets the flow going, so don't stop.

7. What's up and coming? What important event is due? This can be the foundation for your blog ideas. Easter for example or the next big game. What plans, views or interests can you write about? What can benefit your community or needs discussion to improve things.

Inspiration for writing a blog is easy if you think about these 7 blogging tips and ideas. You need to now take action and benefit from writing what is on your heart.

Are your fingernails embarrassing you?
Judging by the ever growing market for false acrylic nails, it would seem that many people prefer to hide their nails.
Amazingly, the condition of your fingernails can reveal a clear picture of your general physical and mental health.
Beau's lines
Horizontal indentations in the nails which travel all the way across can indicate diabetes or malnutrition amongst other things. The lines can also be the result of an accident or a previous illness where there was a high fever. Some find that the lines simply disappear as the nail grows, while others will have to wait until the nail growns out completely.
Clubbing of the fingertips and nails
Some conditions such as issues with the liver, heart, lungs or bowels can cause fingertips to grow wider and the nails to curve around them. Named 'clubbing' this condition indicates that a medical check up should be considered.
Discoloured Nails
While most people know that some yellowing of the nails can be caused by cigarette smoking (yet another reason to stop smoking), discolouring can be the result of various medical conditions such as chronic bronchitis, especially when taken in conjunction with other symptoms.
Some respiratory conditions are indicated by all the fingernails being a dull yellow. Often thicker than normal, the nails have a tendancy to grow really slowly.
Fungal infections or lymphedema (swelling of the hands) could also be the culprit.
Nails can take on a variety of colours ranging from red and black due to blood under the nails, to a greenish tinge or even white spots. A doctor's opinion should be sought for any long term discolouration.
Pitted Nails
Fingernails that have small indentations tend to plague people who suffer from psoriasis or dermatitis.
Alternately pitting, taken together with hair loss, could indicate alopecia areata, a condition caused by malfunctioning of the autoimmune system.
Dirty Nails
Nails that constantly have a thick layer of dirt under them show the world that the person to whom they belong really does not have any respect for themselves. In general, dirty nails of this sort are seen on the person who is careless about their appearance and health. Because of this, it may also be an indication of depression and low self esteem.
Nail biting and picking
Often shown by nails which are very short, the nail biting and picking habits generally starts in childhood and can often be linked to worry or insecurity. There are a whole range of products available across the counter which claim to assist in ending nail biting. Usually, these contain an unpleasant, bitter-tasting ingredient which is painted onto the nails and surrounding cuticle.
Without doubt, though, good hypnotherapy is the most effective and easy treatment for nail picking and biting. Picking the nails can cause long term trauma, weakening the nails and making them soft and easier to tear and flake. Often the picker will be unaware that they are doing it. Wearing gloves, when possible, makes indulging in this habit more difficult. Many people grow out of these habits as they reach adulthood, however some cannot manage to do so.

Onycholysis
In appearance onycholysis looks as though the nails, which are opaque, are detaching from the nail bed.

Spoon nails
This unsightly condition is where the nails grow in a concave manner and the sides appear to be away from the fingertips. It can be caused by an iron deficiency. When accompanied by general tiredness, spoon-shaped nails can indicate anaemia. On a lighter note, spoon nails may be the result of a deformity due to injury and can grow out in time.
Split Nails
Split fingernails can be prevented by regular use of moisturiser and use of rubber gloves when doing washing up or using chemicals. Nail polish remover can cause split nails, therefore it is advisable to use it no more than once a week.
Terry's Nails
Nails that have a pearlescent opaque appearance, often combined with a darker area between this and the white tips are known as Terry's Nails. Some health issues can be the cause such as heart and liver problems, however the condition can also be caused by malnutrition or simply old age.
Vertical ridges
Narrow ridges running vertically from the cuticle to the tip of the nail may indicate a mild dietary deficiency although this can also can be the result of hereditary factors.
Simply by being aware of the condition of your nails and the messages they hold, you can ensure a healthy life.

Art as a professional and academic discipline has a long history spanning several generations. Through this long history it has also undergone a series of interesting and somewhat confusing transformations representing what is often termed the various movements and schools of thought. Therefore contemporary art as it is today is in many ways an outcome of all that took place during the centuries past. A very likely question to be asked would be, in the light of all these developments what then is contemporary art? Simply put, contemporary art is an ongoing development of artistic work building on the foundation of what has been created already. It is against this background that this essay will critically examine the contribution of legendary artists in the 1960s to 1970s in shaping what can be said to be contemporary art within the framework of the definition provided above.

It should also be noted that contemporary art cannot be treated in isolation of the 1960-1970 period apparently due to the fact that this period alone excited much interest than any other art historical period. It was an era characterized by uncompromising critical artistic practices with leading figures like August Rodin, Henri Matisse and Pablo Picasso featuring very prominently. The period between 1960 to 1970 serves a significant purpose within the context of the discussion here fundamentally for a couple of reasons; it was within this period that the advent of the terms “postmodernism” and “modernism” made their debut imprint on the industry. Thus on this premise it can be said that this period served as the birth place of what we have today. In other words, the whole story began right there leading to what we have today. Many people love fishing for catfish in ponds for a variety of reasons. Not only does it allow everyone an opportunity to fish regardless of whether or not they have a boat or expensive electronic equipment, small ponds often produce good sized, plentiful catches at as good or better rates than big lakes or rivers.

Most ponds are in rural settings. Rural settings mean natural wildlife. All kinds of natural wild life (such as foxes, raccoon, beaver, etc) feed on fish. For this reason, pond catfish may be a little more easily spooked than those on large lakes that are more accustomed to the noise that naturally comes with large groups of people. Just take special care when it comes to making noise.

Don't run, walk heavily, rattle a lot of chairs, tackle boxes, or stones on the ground. Fish as far back from the bank as you can. Camouflage yourself as well as you can by sitting in shade, near trees that tend to move a little bit with the breeze, or in areas that provide cover that the fish will already have gotten used to.

In your ponds, it pays to be aware of any old stream channels. They often hold enough cover to provide a natural gathering place for catfish. Another good area for catfishing in ponds is where points of land go into the water. Tree branches, trees, docks, sticks or rocks also provide cover for the catfish and will hold lots of activity when it comes to catching catfish in small ponds.

When you are pond fishing for catfish, you can usually depend on a medium to medium-heavy rod and reel, particularly if you are using about a 12 pound test line. If you are using the suggested rod, reel and line, and you are still continually breaking your line, just increase your test strength, and you should do just fine.

Many people use a float or bobber when fishing for catfish in ponds. This suspends the bait in the water, and many a healthy cat has been known to snap up these suspended offerings. However, most people agree that pond fishing for catfish is usually the best if you fish the muddy bottom of your pond. Just use enough weight to sink your baited hook to the bottom. Move your bait every few minutes to attract the attention of your fish. Consider using minnows, night crawlers, earth worms, grubs, and bloody baits like chicken livers or hearts.

When you can get chicken hearts, they are easier to keep on your hook than livers, and they attract the catfish just as readily as do livers, so they are much easier to use. When you can not get them, livers really do work well, and if you have trouble keeping them on a treble hook, simply wrap them in a section cut from old pantyhose, and attach that to the hook before casting into the water.

The hotter the weather, the deeper you should fish. The same is true for very cold weather. In pleasant springtime weather, consider fishing a little more shallow, since the catfish will have a higher metabolism at this time and be hanging out closer to their natural food sources. Catfish's natural food sources will almost always be more plentiful in the more shallow areas.
